Make 2D games with AI
You design your game with Claude. Beeloop Engine builds it, draws its art and animates it, and you play it straight away.
Version 0.2.0 beta 24 · October 25, 2026. It updates itself. On Linux, allow the AppImage to run as a program (chmod +x), then open it.
What's new in 0.2.0 beta 24
- The Game document no longer updates your game's settings every time you pause. Write as long as you like, then click Update now at the end of its toolbar, and each update uses less of your AI plan.
- Want it to update by itself? Turn on Auto-update from the same toolbar: it then runs when you leave the document or stop typing for 5 minutes.
- Animations asked for in the chat are no longer given up on when the animator is busy. The app waits for them, and the chat says they're still being made instead of "made 0 animations".
Getting started
- Install it and open it. It sets up its game engine by itself the first time.
- Sign in in its Settings, or make an account there. Art is paid with a monthly plan, or with credits: 100 for $1, and a picture is about 13 to 22.
- Connect Claude: in Settings, choose Add to Claude Desktop (or the Claude Code command). The designing and building run on your own Claude plan.
